Winchester

A complete garden design and installation. The clients have a young family and needed a lawned area for the children to play on but also wanted plenty of paved space for entertaining.

The orientation of the house meant that two large paved areas were required to capture both lunchtime and evening sun. In order to retain the garden, large raised planters were installed around the periphery to enable future planting to be undertaken – helping to soften the boundaries.

New fencing installed using slotted concrete posts and closed board panels. The light grey sandstone paving chosen by the client really offsets the timber planters and reflects back plenty of light to brighten the more shaded areas. A resin-based jointing compound used ‘Easyjoint’ which never degrades unlike traditional cement-based pointing.
